NORTHBOUND AND ROLLIN

For the 50th anniversary of my aunt and uncle’s hunting and outdoor camp, I reworked the visual identity around the history already built into the place. The inspiration came directly from camp: old Pennsylvania hunting and fishing licenses, field manuals, vintage buttons and tags, worn signage, and hand-painted details from the smokehouse and existing camp marks.

Rather than making something feel newly designed, the goal was to build a system that felt collected over time. Photos of the nearby dam and surrounding landscape were simplified into illustrated hills, while stamped numbers, license details, trout imagery, and weathered typography gave the identity the feeling of old camp records, gear tags, and outdoor ephemera. The result was a refreshed camp system rooted in memory, place, and family history.
